Chocolate Covered Strawberries

A classic dessert and one of my all time favorites! So easy and quick and always a showstopper!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries


  • 12-16 Strawberries
  • 1 cup dark chocolate melting wafers preferably Ghirardelli
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate


  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt dark chocolate over a double boiler. Dip the strawberries in up to the stem in the dark chocolate. Shake excess off and then place on parchment paper.
  • Let chocolate set and then melt white chocolate in a double boiler. Pour melted white chocolate into a piping bag and snip a tin part off the end. Pipe lines across strawberries.
  • Let set at room temperature. Once set transfer to fridge to harden chocolate.
